This Privacy Policy explains how panluminate, Inc. ("panluminate," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information through panluminate.com (the "Site") and when you contact us. panluminate, Inc. is located at 55 Church Street #100B, New Haven, CT 06510.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you start a project, join a waitlist, or inquire about one of our programs, we ask for your name, email address, and organization. Depending on the form, you may also share your role, sector, the products you are interested in, your sample or tissue types, your research question, your timeline, and any notes you add. We also receive whatever you include when you email us.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from cdnjs and jsDelivr, so those providers also receive your IP address and browser information when a page loads.

Cookies. The Site does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or cross-site tracking.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, scope and deliver projects, and manage waitlists and program applications
• To keep records of our business relationships, including in our customer relationship management system
• To send you information you have asked for, such as product availability updates
• To operate, maintain, and secure the Site
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

How we share your information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that work on our behalf, including our website host, our email delivery and email hosting providers, and our customer relationship management provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Collaborators you ask us to involve, for example a partner whose software or instrument is part of your project.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of panluminate, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to maintain records of our business relationships and to meet legal, accounting, and grant reporting obligations. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you updates, by writing to info@panluminate.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to receive a copy of your data or to object to certain uses. panluminate is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Site is intended for researchers and professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
